Frequently Asked Questions
When should I choose air freight over sea freight?
Air freight is the way to go when speed matters, for urgent, time sensitive or higher value cargo and smaller consignments. Sea freight is usually more cost effective for large or heavy shipments like vehicles. We will weigh up cost against speed with you and recommend the right fit.
Do you handle both air freight imports and exports?
Yes. We arrange air freight to and from anywhere in the world, through our global network of airline and agent partners, as a single point of contact.
Which airlines do you work with?
We have well established relationships and strong buying power with all the airlines servicing South Africa, so we can match the right airline to your shipment rather than being tied to one carrier.
Can you arrange collection, packing and the full process?
Yes. We offer a single source solution, from arranging collection and handling the packing requirements through to clearing and delivery, and we keep you updated at every step.
What can I send by air freight?
Air freight suits parts, documents, smaller general and commercial cargo and anything urgent. If you are not sure whether air is right for your shipment, send us the details and we will advise.
How much does air freight cost?
It depends on the weight, dimensions, destination and how urgently you need it, so there is no flat figure. Send us the details and we will put a quote together for you.
